Everybody knows the Omega Speedmaster in its classic form a.k.a. the Moonwatch, however in the 1990’s the company expanded on the classic design to create a more contemporary version of their already popular chronograph. They added a date feature at first as the original did not have one and then they added a calendar function hidden within the chronograph sub-dials.

This version comes in a 39mm stainless steel case with a polished/engraved tachymetre bezel. The dial is a sunburst silver with a date chapter ring around the edges, indicated by an independent hand topped with a black crescent. It also has three sub-dials at 12/9/6 o’clock with the left sub-dial containing your sweeping second hand and a 24 hour indicator. The top sub-dial measures up to 30 minutes on the chronograph and also contains the day and month apertures. Fitted with a domed sapphire crystal glass and powered by the Omega calibre 1151 automatic mechanism. The watch comes on a matching brushed stainless steel bracelet with a sliding push clasp.

Originally purchased in January 2003 and in mint condition, this Speedmaster Day Date comes with its original inner & outer boxes, operating instructions, red leather wallet, swing tag and international warranty card.
