Oris Flight Timer 1945 Limited Edition, 690 1945 40 84

 Designed specially to commemorate sixty years after the end of the second world war, this is a limited edition watch of only 1945 made worldwide. This stainless steel automatic watch is engraved with a fighter plane, a dove to symbolise the end of war and the beginning of peace. With the text 'sixty years of peace since world war II' on the case back.

In Mint conditon, worn on only a handful of times, and supplied as a complete set with all original boxes, warranty paperwork, instruction booklets, wooden commemorative propellor and additional brushed and polished Oris steel bracelet.

Featuring a pilots style oversized time zone control, referencing watches of the past when Pilots would use this mechansim to change the time zone even when wearing gloves. Originally purchased through Goldsmiths Jewellers of York in October 2005.
