1993 was a key year in the history of Panerai and its most iconic watch, the Luminor. In that year, for the first time, the brand presented the Luminor and its variation the Luminor Marina to the public. Before then, Panerai watches had been available only to military forces. Known for their large cushion-shaped cases and innovative locking crown mechanism, they quickly caught the eye of watch enthusiasts and celebrities alike and have gone on to produce many variations of the classic design.

This version, reference PAM00779 is a new luminor with a remarkable personality that draws inspiration from many of the most Iconic Panerai's produced; the California dial, the DLC coated titanium case and the hand-wound 8-day power reserve movement. All characteristic's that have been combined to create a new original Luminor that will stand the test of time. 

Coming set in a 44mm matte titanium case coated in DLC and fitted with the infamous Panerai crown locking mechanism. The Black California dial is graced with a gilt minute track as well as faded luminova for all of the indices and the blued hand set. An anti-reflective sapphire reflective glass protects the dial, with the watch itself powered by the Calibre P.5000 and safeguarded by a closed screw-down caseback which allows for a water resistance of 30atm (300m/1000ft). Supplied on a black rubber Panerai strap secured by the classic trapezoidal pin buckle. 

Originally sold in February 2019 and in fine condition due to very light wear on the case, this Panerai comes with its original inner and outer boxes, as well as an additional calf leather bund strap, strap changing tool, instruction booklet and guarantee booklet/certificates.
