The Panerai Luminor series stands as an iconic testament to the marriage of Italian craftsmanship and naval heritage in the world of luxury watches. Born from a legacy rooted in supplying precision instruments to the Italian Navy and only available to the public from 1993 onward. The hallmark feature of the Luminor, the distinctive crown lock system, not only defines its aesthetic appeal but also symbolizes the watches water-resistant prowess. Whether adorned with a minimalist dial or intricate complications, each Luminor timepiece exudes a distinctive blend of maritime elegance and cutting-edge technology, attracting horology enthusiasts and maritime aficionados alike. 

This version of the Luminor GMT, reference PAM00088 was produced from 2001 until 2016. Set in the classic 44mm stainless steel cushion-shaped case with clean black dial, featuring large 12/6 Arabic numerals with 24-hour increments around the outer ring; indicated by an arrowhead additional hand and stick hour markers, all in Luminova. There is also a date feature with magnifying lens at 3 o’clock and a contrasting silver running seconds sub-dial at 9 o’clock. Water resistant up to 30atm (300m/1000ft) thanks to its iconic crown lock and protected by a domed sapphire crystal glass. The watch is powered by the automatic calibre OP VIII movement and comes fitted on a brown alligator strap with cream stitching and polished deployment clasp.

Originally purchased in August 2008 and in unworn condition, this Panerai comes with its original inner and outer boxes, chronometer certificate, instruction booklet, retail barcodes, warranty booklet, strap changing tool, additional black rubber strap and international warranty card.
