The Luminor represents an evolution of Panerai's historic military watch designs, retaining the distinctive cushion-shaped case and patented crown-protecting bridge that have become synonymous with the Panerai. The Chrono Monopulsante 8 Days GMT combines this unmistakable design language with an advanced manufacture movement incorporating a monopusher chronograph, second time zone and eight-day power reserve.

This example, reference PAM00317, is presented in a 44mm black ceramic Luminor case with the characteristic crown-protecting bridge and a black dial featuring luminous Arabic numerals and hour markers. The dial incorporates a 30-minute chronograph counter at 3 o'clock, continuously running small seconds with a day/night indicator at 9 o'clock and a linear power-reserve indicator at 6 o'clock. A central hand indicates the second time zone, while a 24-hour indication distinguishes between day and night. Protecting the dial is a sapphire crystal, with the case incorporating a single chronograph pusher at 8 o'clock. At its heart beats the Panerai manufacture calibre P.2004, a manually wound movement with a column-wheel monopusher chronograph and GMT function. The watch is completed by a black rubber strap with a Panerai buckle and offers water resistance to 10 bar (100m/330ft).

Serviced by Panerai in March 2023 and presented in mint condition, this Luminor Chrono Monopulsante 8 Days GMT is supplied with its original inner and outer presentation boxes, instruction booklet and Panerai service papers.
