The structure of Carbotech is designed to enhance both the aesthetics and the performance of the material. To form the plates of Carbotech from which these components are made, thin sheets of carbon fibres are compressed at a controlled temperature under high pressure together with a high-end polymer, PEEK (Polyether EtherKetone), which binds the composite material, making it even stronger and more durable. Carbotech has an uneven, matte black appearance, which varies according to the cutting of the material, the result being that each watch is unique.

This version of the Luminor Submersible, reference PAM02616 comes set in a 47mm black Carbotech case with matching unidirectional bezel complete with dive graduations. The black dial features light blue luminous indicators and hands, in addition to a sub seconds dial and date aperture at 3 o'clock. These details are completed by a domed sapphire crystal and powered by the in-house automatic Calibre P.9010 which boasts a 3-day power reserve made possible by its twin barrels. It's 30atm (300m/1000ft) water resistance is ensured by its Iconic Panerai crown lock system, with the watch completed by a black rubber strap with black DLC titanium pin buckle. 

Originally sold in April 2023 and in Mint condition, coming supplied with its original inner and outer boxes, instruction/warranty booklet, additional grey textile strap, strap tools, swing tag, retail barcodes, copy of original purchase receipt and original international warranty card. 

This Panerai is covered by its extended warranty until April 2031.
