Panerai Radiomir Due GMT Power Reserve, PAM00944

We are proud to present this stylish Panerai Radiomir Due GMT Power Reserve sale in mint condition. 

In 1935 the Royal Italian Navy approached Panerai and other watch manufacturers with the request of designing a watch resistant to extreme conditions while at the same time keeping exact time for the frogman commandos of the First Submarine Group Command and offering excellent legibility even under water. The prototype submitted by Panerai in 1936 was called Radiomir, from the name of the luminescent substance used for hands and indices and passed all the tests successfully.

This version of the Radiomir, reference PAM00944 comes set in a 45mm polished stainless steel cushion-shaped case with classic Panerai crown-lock system and smooth polished bezel. The dial is a stunning grey sunburst colour with cut-out luminous hour markers and 12/9/6 Arabic numerals, steel edged hands and is protected by a domed sapphire crystal glass. It also features a date window at 3 o’clock, 72-hour power reserve indicator at 5 o’clock and a central GMT hand. It is powered by the Panerai calibre P.4002 in-house automatic mechanism which boasts a ‘3-day’ power reserve and is visible through an exhibition caseback. It comes fitted on a dark brown alligator leather strap with beige stitching and a steel pin buckle.

Originally purchased in February 2020 and in mint condition, this Radiomir comes with its original inner & outer boxes, instruction booklet, warranty booklet, barcode stickers and international warranty. This watch benefits from coverage of its extended Panerai warranty until February 2028.
