Panerai Radiomir 8 Days, PAM00190

We are proud to present this stylish Panerai Radiomir 8-Day watch for sale in mint condition.

In 1935 the Royal Italian Navy approached Panerai and other watch manufacturers with the request of designing a watch resistant to extreme conditions while at the same time keeping exact time for the frogman commandos of the First Submarine Group Command and offering excellent legibility even under water. The prototype submitted by Panerai in 1936 was called Radiomir, from the name of the luminescent substance used for hands and indices and passed all the tests successfully.

This version the Radiomir PAM00190 was launched in 2005 and is one of 1000 made. It is set in a 45mm polished stainless steel case with a smooth polished bezel and a more traditional shaped crown based on the early models before the invention of Panerai’s patented crown-lock system in 1955. The dial is a crisp black colour with cut-out luminous hour markers and 12/3/6 Arabic numerals, running seconds sub-dial, yellow gold hands and protected by a domed sapphire crystal glass. It is powered by the calibre OP XIV manual wind mechanism which can be viewed through an exhibition caseback that showcases the movement and also the a 8-day power reserve indicator. It comes fitted on a black Panerai alligator leather strap with black stitching and a stainless steel pin-buckle. 

Originally purchased in February 2007 and in mint condition, this Radiomir comes with its original inner & outer boxes, instruction booklet, guarantee booklet, barcode stickers, service documentation (March 2016), original receipt and international warranty card. It is sold with our 12-month warranty.
