We are proud to present this exceptional Panerai Radiomir, reference PAM00425 in mint condition.

This example represents the unmistakable design language of Panerai’s Historic Collection, combining robust Italian naval heritage with refined Swiss mechanical engineering. At its core is the hand-wound mechanical calibre P.3000 movement, entirely manufactured by Panerai and celebrated for its robust architecture, exceptional torque delivery and outstanding reliability. The movement features a twin-barrel construction with an extended three-day power reserve.

Reference PAM00425 is distinguished by its highly legible black sandwich dial featuring luminous pip and baton hour markers, complemented by luminous hands and a small embossed 'PIG' below the pinion. The famous 'PIG' icon pays homage to the WWII Italian Royal Navy Commando Frogmen. These Navy Commandos piloted slow moving submersibles, nicknamed Pigs due to their slow nature, with explosive payload's equipped to take out British naval ships. They needed precise and resilient timepieces to help with the navigation of these machines, so Panerai was commissioned for the task and have continued to make excellent, and elegant, dive-capable timepieces ever since.

The substantial stainless steel Radiomir case measures 47mm. The watch is paired with a tan leather strap, enhancing the vintage-inspired character of the piece while ensuring exceptional comfort on the wrist. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal, while the robust case construction provides water resistance to 100 metres / 330 feet.

Originally purchased in January 2013 and presented in mint condition. Supplied with original Panerai inner and outer boxes, a spare strap and Historic Collection booklets with original purchase date information. Limited edition number 336/1500.
