The Patek Philippe Annual Calendar is one of the manufacture’s most significant modern innovations. Introduced in 1996, the 5035 was the world’s first production annual calendar wristwatch, marking a milestone in contemporary horology. It bridged the gap between traditional complete calendars and the perpetual calendar, offering a complication that automatically adjusts for months with 30 and 31 days, requiring correction only once a year on the 1st of March. Designed and built entirely in-house, its calibre uses even more components than a perpetual calendar, yet is engineered for reliability, easier servicing, and remarkable legibility.

This particular reference, 5035G-039, is crafted from solid 18ct white gold and set in the signature 37mm Patek Philippe case with sculpted lugs and a refined stepped bezel. The elegant silver dial features applied white gold Roman numerals, slim leaf hands, and three sub-dials displaying the day, month, and 24-hour indicator, paired with a crisp date aperture at 6 o’clock. These details are protected by a domed sapphire crystal, while the beautifully finished Calibre 315 S QA automatic movement, complete with 21k gold rotor is showcased through an exhibition caseback.

The watch is fitted with a black Patek Philippe alligator leather strap with a matching white gold pin buckle, and is accompanied by an additional Patek Philippe black strap.

This 5035G was serviced by the Patek Philippe Workshop in London in November 2025, and benefits from a 24-month Patek Philippe service warranty.
