When launched in 1997, the Aquanaut created a sensation. It was young, modern and unexpected from such a “traditional” brand like Patek. Its case was a rounded octagon, inspired by that of the Nautilus. And it sported a “tropical” strap, made of a new composite material ultra-resistant to wear, salt water and UV radiation.

This watch ref. 5168G-001 features an embossed dial subtly gradated from black to night blue, with luminous hands and indices, Arabic numeral hour markers and a date aperture at 3 o'clock. The new 42.2mm white gold case is fitted with an exhibition caseback displays the impressive automatic calibre 324 S C contained within. Finally the watch is presented on a Blue 'Tropical' style Patek strap with polished white gold embossed Patek deployment clasp.

This watch was originally purchased through a well established Patek Philippe retailer in 2022 and is sold in mint condition, with it's original inner & outer boxes, all booklets, leather document holder and original certificate of origin.

This watch is covered under its manufacturer warranty until 2024, however also benefits from our 12-month warranty from the date of purchase.
