    Payment Options

     

    We accept all major Credit and Debit Cards with chip and pin, however please note the following surcharges which we have to make:

    • Business or Commercial Debit/Credit Card
    • American Express is set to a limit of £3,000.00 (Not available for Online Transactions)
    • We accept bank transfers (Photographic ID must be provided)
    • Please note that we do not take ANY form of card payment over the phone.

    Please note that when paying by Credit Card you are covered by your insurance. If you have any concerns please contact your Credit Card company for more details.

    We accept Balance Transfers (Wire) and Bankers Drafts (Photographic ID must be provided). Please allow 2 days for funds to be cleared and for administration and security checks to be carried out. Please speak to a member of our sales team for more details.

    Due to our company policy we do not accept cash over £7000.

    We only dispatch watches to UK & Northern Ireland postal addresses.

     

    Order Process – Offline

    Please call us, 0208 994 4567 or email our sales team, sales@watches.co.uk, who will explain the options for all offline orders.

    All orders successfully processed by 1pm will be given priority for next day delivery.

    This is dependent upon satisfactory security checks being completed and subject to the watch being ready for dispatch.

    Order Process – Online

    We use Barclays Verified by Visa & Mastercard secure code for secure online transactions. The purchase limit for online transactions is at our discretion. Please contact us for more information. Email: sales@watches.co.uk.

    Please note: We do not accept online credit card payments for watches to be shipped outside of the UK

    Delivery

    We send all Watches out by Royal Mail Special Delivery, for delivery Monday to Saturday. The standard cost of delivery is £10 for UK delivery addresses which includes all packaging and insurance. The delivery will arrive the following day by 1pm (we can not take responsibility for delivery problems with the Royal Mail) the parcel has to be signed for by the purchaser.

    We can also offer Royal Mail Special Delivery guaranteed before 9am. Please call us for more details. If you have not received an item please call us for your tracking number and click on the Royal Mail logo below.

    Guarantee

    We offer a 14 day money back guarantee on every pre-owned watch that we send out mail order unless otherwise stated. The watch must be returned to us in the exact same condition that you received it. If you are buying an unworn watch, all stickers must be kept intact until you have decided to keep the watch. We appreciate that you will need to try the watch on but we ask that when it is tried on and you take great care not to mark the watch or watch strap. If you return a watch to us and it has been marked, scratched or stickers have been removed we may charge you up to 20 percent of the sales figure, subject to the watches returned condition.

    Returns

    If you buy a watch from us face to face at our offices and you decide when you get home that you purchased the wrong watch we can offer you a full credit note or an exchange, you must let us know within 48 hours of the purchase.

    To be eligible for a credit note or an exchange the watch must be unused and in the same condition. You must also have our sales receipt, box and any relevant booklets and warranty papers, plus watch bracelets links or extra straps.

    A refund will be given if the watch is found to be faulty within 30 days after purchase or we can have it repaired for you, under our warranty.

    Warranty

    All Unworn and Pre-owned watches come with a 12 month guarantee from The Swiss Watch Co. unless stated otherwise.

    The watches movement is covered under our 12 month warranty. SWC’s warranty does not apply to damage done by inappropriate use or miss treatment of your watch. We will also not be able to honour the 12 month warranty if a third party has opened up the watch. Please call if you have any problem with your watch within the warranty period.

    The warranty does not extend to the watch bracelets, clasps, watch cases, watch glasses, buttons and crowns nor does it cover any damage done to the case and the movement by water or moisture entering the watch because of a handling error.

    Our Vintage watches also come with a 12 month warranty.

    Please note that the purchaser is liable for all delivery/shipping costs incurred. We do not cover accidental damage or loss. Warranties issued by the Swiss Watch Company are not transferable under any circumstances.

    All of the information in regard to watches on our site, such as retail prices, Model No.s etc. is correct to the best of our knowledge. Should you notice that anything is incorrect please contact us to let us know so we can put it right. These details are updated regularly but are subject to change without notification.  

    Please note that when using the Currency Converter all Prices are at time of use and subject to change. The Currency Converter is operated externally by http://www.xe.com.

    Condition of the Watches

    Our condition classification serves only as a guide as the estimation of the condition of a watch is always subjective. Therefore it may be possible that on rare occasions your view of a condition of a watch may be different to ours.

    Unworn - Never worn, protective stickers may still be intact on the watch, however on some occasions they are removed by the original retailer.

    Pre-Owned Mint - No marks or very few signs of use. Any marks will be very minute and hardly visible.

    Pre-Owned Fine - Some slight surface marks that may be visible.

    Pre-Owned Good - Some visible surface marks on the watch.

    If we have graded a watch as ‘Pre-Owned Mint’ it simply means that it is in an excellent condition, very minute blemishes or wear marks, it will also normally include the original box and paperwork.
    Older watches can be ‘Pre-Owned Mint’ or even ‘Pre-Owned Fine’ if we consider them to be so for their age and again pretty much free from marks.
    If a watch is just below this grade then we would just state is as ‘Pre-Owned Good’ it might have a few visible marks on the case of the watch or some marks on the bracelet or bezel, we have notes on each watch so please ask.
    We speak to clients regularly to ensure that our grading is fair and a true representation of the watches we sell. When a watch is new it will state unworn in the condition box.

    If you have reason to complain about our service then please call our Sales Team on 020 8994 4567 and we will endeavour to help you and sort out any grievances you have to your satisfaction as quickly as possible.

    Please note that the Swiss Watch Co. accepts no responsibility for work and repairs carried out by the Swiss Watch Service Centre on watches NOT bought from us. All watches purchased from us carry a full 1 year guarantee unless specified when purchased.
