Highlights

The Rolex GMT was originally designed in partnership with Pan American Airways and issued to crew on the long haul flights. GMT stands for Greenwich Mean Time and the watch was unique at the time as it enabled flight crews to read different time zones at a glance.

Supplied in Mint condition considering its age, this GMT Master is from 1977 and supplied with the original inner and outer Rolex box, both Rolex booklets from that era and small green document wallet. Serviced in June 2016 by an accredited Rolex service center.

Difficult to source in such original condition, this timepiece is an excellent example of a late 1970s GMT Master Rolex with the well regarded matte black original tritium dial. Comes with a brand new Rolex red and blue bezel, with receipt from Rolex UK dated June 2016
