Rolex Vintage Explorer II Orange Hand (Albino), 1655

The Swiss Watch Co UK Ltd proudly presents this excellent Rolex Vintage Explorer II Orange Hand for sale.

When launched in 1971, the Explorer II set new standards for precision, strength, and clarity. The watch was originally designed for people who spent a lot of time with no natural light like cave explorers and features a distinctive 24-hour hand, an invaluable aid to distinguish daytime hours from the night.

In fine condition for its age, this 1655 Rolex Explorer II has not been refinished in order to keep its character and originality and features a 38mm stainless steel case, original stainless steel link bracelet with folding clasp, 24 hour engraved bezel and date window with cyclops. A rare example, this watch still has its original hands and dial.

The watch is powered by a chronometer rated automatic movement and underwent a service in 2011 in which the original bezel has been replaced however the original is still supplied.

Originally purchased in February 1984 and in fine condition for its age, the watch comes with the original inner and outer Rolex boxes, calendar card, Oyster booklet, service guarantee card from 2011 and it's original punched serial number chronometer certificate.
