Patek Philippe Calatrava, 3611/001

The Swiss Watch Co UK Ltd proudly presents the elegant Patek Philippe Calatrava watch.

Since its inception in the early 1930’s the Calatrava has set the benchmark for clean elegant watches and has been slowly evolving over the last 90 years to become the symbol for what we think of as a dress watch. Elegance in simplicity sums up the design and that simple 2 or 3 hand watch with elegant hands and clean hour markers has made it a favourite of many watch enthusiasts the world over.

This version the ref.3611 was influenced by the early 1970’s designs, which were the first Calatravas to feature the ‘Clous de Paris’ bezel, or Hobnail as it is known. Not only does this watch feature a solid 18ct yellow gold bezel and 34mm case it also has the Hobnail texturing on the solid gold dial. The applied hour markers are black and edged in gold and match the sword hands. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal glass, whilst the watch is powered by the Patek calibre 215 manual wind mechanism. It comes fitted on an integral matching yellow gold bracelet with a folding ladder clasp (hallmarked).

Originally purchased in February 1986 and in fine condition considering its age, the watch comes with its original leather wallet, modern Patek service pouch, original instruction booklet, original sales receipt and original warranty certificate.
