The Fifty Fathoms collection embodies Blancpain’s passion for the marine world, introduced for the first time in 1953 with the creation of the “modern” diver’s watch. All the Fifty Fathoms models bear the principal distinctive characteristics that forged the reputation of their legendary ancestor and established it as the archetypal diver’s watch.

This version the reference 5015-11C30-52 has been in production since 2007 and is still available today. It comes set in a DLC black coated steel 45mm round case with a matching black uni-rotational bezel, which is covered in sapphire crystal to prevent tarnishing. The dial is a clean black colour with quarter Arabic numerals, arrowhead hour markers and skyscraper hands; all of which are luminous. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal glass and has a screw-down crown for water resistance up to 300M. It is powered by the Blancpain calibre 1315 automatic movement, which is visible through an exhibition caseback. It comes fitted on a black ‘sail-canvas’ strap with a DLC black pin-buckle.

Originally purchased in August 2009 and in mint condition (light marks on 11/5 o’clock lugs), this Blancpain comes with its original inner and outer box (inner marked, outer split), cleaning cloth, instruction booklet and international warranty card. This Fifty Fathoms was serviced by Blancpain in September 2020 and is under warranty until September 2022 with them.
