We are proud to present this stylish Tag Heuer Monaco Calibre 11 ‘France Edition’ watch for sale.

The Monaco was originally introduced in 1969 in honour of the Monaco Grand Prix. A ground-breaking watch when it was launched, as it was the first square cased automatic chronograph to be produced. Made famous thanks to the movie "Le Mans" in which Steve McQueen carries a Heuer Monaco 1133B Calibre 11 on his wrist.

There have been a few versions released over the years which, pay tribute to the original watch worn by McQueen, but this version the reference CAW211S is based on the iconic 74033N. It was produced as a limited edition for the French market and only 200 pieces were made.

Set in a 39mm stainless steel case in the iconic square-shape, with a raised sapphire crystal glass fitted to the watch. The dial is a deep black finish and features a striking red split-second and chrono hand set, twin contrasting silver rounded-square sub-dials for the running second hand and timing up to 30 minutes with the original-style 5-minute increments. It also has a date feature at 6 o’clock and silver hands with aged creamy luminous/red filling finish off the details of this lovely timepiece. It comes fitted on a black Tag Heuer perforated vintage ‘racing-style’ leather strap with a steel ‘Heuer’ engraved deployment buckle.

Originally purchased in February 2018 and in mint condition, this Monaco comes with its original inner & outer boxes, instruction booklet and international warranty card. This Monaco has just been serviced by TAG Heuer UK and is under their service warranty until October 2022.
