Since its inception in the early 1930’s the Calatrava has set the benchmark for clean elegant watches and has been slowly evolving over the last 90 years to become the symbol for what we think of as a dress watch. Elegance in simplicity sums up the design and that simple 2 or 3 hand watch with elegant hands and clean hour markers has made it a favourite of many watch enthusiasts the world over.

This version the reference 5916J has been in production since 2004 and comes in an elegant 37mm solid 18ct yellow gold case with a clean minimal silvery opaline dial. The dial features applied yellow gold hour markers with matching dauphine hands, as well as a black printed sub-second dial. The watch is fitted with a domed sapphire crystal glass and powered by the Patek calibre 215PS manual wind mechanism and comes on a genuine Patek light brown alligator leather strap with an 18ct yellow gold pin buckle.

Originally purchased in circa 2010 and in a lovely condition this Patek comes with a Patek leather wallet and Patek service paperwork dated July 2021. The watch is under their warranty until July 2022 and will be supported by a 12-month warranty from SWC from the date of sale.
