The Constellation family has been around for 69 years (in 2021) and is currently one of Omega’s oldest collections. What started out as a chronometer for men in 1952 has undergone countless aesthetic transformations, from the pie-pan dials of the 1950s to the ultra-thin quartz watches of the 1970s leading to the consolidation of the collection in 1982 with the Constellation Manhattan and its hallmark claws.

This version from the early 1990’s comes set in a polished 33mm solid 18ct yellow gold case with the black engraved Roman numeral bezel, featuring the iconic ‘claws’ at 3/9 o’clock. The dial is a clean champagne colour with gold dot hour markers, surrounded by printed black train-track minute markers around the outer part of the dial, which match the black edged hands for increased legibility. There is also a date aperture at 3 o’clock and the dial is protected by a flat mineral glass. The watch is powered by an Omega quartz mechanism and comes fitted on an Omega brown alligator leather strap with a gold plated pin-buckle.

Originally purchased in January 1993 and in mint condition for its age, this Constellation comes with its original inner & outer boxes (inner box is tarnished), original sales invoice and international warranty card. This Constellation is sold with a 12-month warranty from SWC.
