We are proud to present this stylish Rolex Air King for sale in mint condition, fully checked and authenticated in our accredited workshop.
The Air King was created by Hans Wilsdorf to honour the World War II pilots and has been in production for over 70 years. Pilots and Rolex enthusiasts have adopted the Air King and companies like Pan-Am gave them as retirement gifts to their pilots. This version, the reference 14010 was released alongside the 14000, which marked the first major change in the Air King collection for nearly 40 years. Upgrading the old plexi-glass to a stronger sapphire crystal and upgrading the self-winding mechanism to the calibre 3000.
This watch is set in the original 34mm stainless steel Oyster case, which is fitted with the iconic engine-turned ‘hour-mark’ bezel and a twin-lock screw-down crown for basic water resistance up to 10atm (100m/330ft). The dial is a stunning blue with a sunburst finish with contrasting white minute track, applied slim baton hour markers, topped with luminous dots and protected by a flat sapphire crystal glass. It comes fitted on a matching satin finished stainless steel Oyster link bracelet with a folding clasp.
Originally purchased in May 1996 and in mint condition for its age, the watch comes supplied with the original inner & outer Rolex boxes, Oyster booklet, translation booklet, calendar card, leather document holder and perforated Rolex warranty certificate.
This Air King is sold with our 12-month warranty from the date of sale.
