Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date 34, 15200

We are proud to present this stylish Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date, fully inspected in our accredited workshop.

The Oyster Perpetual Date was first launched in the late 1950s and was one of the first watches to display the date in a window at 3 o’clock on the dial, fulfilling Rolex founder, Hans Wilsdorf’s dreams of producing timepieces that were not only beautiful to look at but were also highly useful and functional. Housed in the legendary Rolex Oyster case, the Date is 34mm in diameter and is water resistant to 100 meters (330 feet). They were available in a variety of case materials and the model was produced all the way up to 1989.

This model reference 15200 was produced from 1988 until the mid-2000’s and is presented in a polished stainless steel 34mm Oyster case with solid lugs and a Twinlock screw-down crown. The bezel has a smooth polished finish with a striking salmon sunburst dial with applied Arab and baton hour markers. The hands are the classic ‘stick’ style and the dial is finished off with the date feature at 3 o’clock with a magnifying cyclops lens for increased legibility. The watch is fitted with a sapphire crystal glass and is powered by the workhorse Rolex calibre 3135 automatic, chronometer certified movement and comes fitted on its original matching stainless steel Oyster link bracelet with a folding clasp.

Originally purchased in March 2003 and in mint condition for its age, this Rolex comes with its original inner & outer boxes, translation booklet, calendar card, swing tag, seal, leather warranty holder and perforated international warranty paperwork. This Rolex Date is sold with a 12-month warranty from SWC.
