Created in 1945 and still produced today, the Datejust is Rolex’s longest running collection. Although the dials, hands and case size may have changed in the last 75 years the Datejust has earned its iconic status with its timeless aesthetics and reliable functionality. The brands first automatic watch to feature the date window at 3 o’clock and combined with the waterproof Oyster case made it a watch for all occasions.

This version the reference 68278 is the most luxurious version of the Datejust in solid 18ct gold and fitted with the iconic ‘President’ bracelet. It is the only other model than the Day-Date to have it. Set in the slightly larger 31mm midsize gold oyster case with the elegant gold fluted bezel with a matching gold screw-down crown. The dial is a golden champagne colour with diamond dot hour markers and matching gold hands, date feature at 3 o'clock and fitted with a sapphire crystal glass with cyclops. Powered by a Rolex automatic self-winding mechanism and fitted on the iconic yellow gold President link bracelet with a concealed folding Oysterclasp.

Originally purchased in June 1984 and in mint condition, this Datejust comes with an original inner & outer box, instruction booklet and perforated warranty card.
