Created in 1945 and still produced today, the Datejust is Rolex’s longest-running collection. Although the dials, hands and case size have evolved over the last 75 years, the Datejust has earned its iconic status through its timeless aesthetics and exceptional reliability. The brand’s first self-winding wristwatch to feature a date display at 3 o’clock, combined with the waterproof Oyster case, made it a watch suited to every occasion. The Datejust remains Rolex’s most iconic non-sports model and is equally at home as an everyday companion or for more formal occasions.

This version of the Datejust was introduced at Baselworld 2018 and is powered by Rolex’s in-house calibre 3235. Entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex, this new-generation self-winding movement delivers a superlative level of precision, reliability and performance. Certified as a Swiss Chronometer by the COSC (Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres), the calibre 3235 incorporates the innovative Chronergy escapement and a Parachrom hairspring for enhanced resistance to shocks and magnetic fields.

This impressive timepiece features a 36mm Oyster case crafted from Oystersteel, fitted with a matching Oyster bracelet, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, an elegant 18ct white gold fluted bezel, and a striking blue sunray-finish dial complete with a date aperture at 3 o’clock beneath the signature Cyclops magnification lens. Luxurious diamond-set hour markers and polished silver-toned hands complete the refined aesthetic, while the Twinlock screw-down winding crown ensures water resistance to 100 metres (330 feet).

Originally purchased in June 2020, this watch is presented in mint condition. It is supplied complete with its original inner and outer Rolex presentation boxes, swing tag, international warranty card and instruction booklet, making it an outstanding example of one of Rolex’s most enduring and desirable classic timepieces.
