We are proud to present this stylish Rolex Datejust 36 watch for sale.
Created in 1945 and still produced today, the Datejust is Rolex’s longest running collection. Although the dials, hands and case size may have changed in the last 75 years the Datejust has earned its iconic status with its timeless aesthetics and reliable functionality. The brands first automatic watch to feature the date window at 3 o’clock and combined with the waterproof Oyster case made it a watch for all occasions.
Since 1978 Rolex has been the official partner and timekeeper of Wimbledon Tennis, which is the oldest and most prestigious tennis tournament in the world. Many winners of the tournament can be seen wearing their Rolex watches and as such this particular dial variation has become known as the ‘Wimbledon’ dial due to its green edged Roman numeral hour markers (a nod to the green grass courts, as well as Rolex’s signature colour).
This model reference 126200 has been in production since 2019, with this particular dial released at Watches and Wonders' in 2021. It is set in a polished 36mm stainless steel Oyster case with a smooth polished bezel. The dial features a unique palm leaf motif in olive green, luminous baton hour markers and the classic date feature at 3 o’clock complete with cyclops lens for visibility. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal glass, and the watch is powered by the Rolex calibre 3235 automatic self-winding movement which features the new Chronergy escapement with Parachrom hairsping. Presented on the iconic Oyster steel bracelet with both satin/polished finishes and a folding Oysterclasp.
Originally purchased in January 2022 and in unworn condition, the watch comes supplied with its original inner and outer box, seal, instruction booklet, warranty booklet, leather card holder and international warranty card. This Datejust is under Rolex warranty until January 2027.
