Created in 1945 and still produced today, the Datejust is Rolex’s longest running collection. Although the dials, hands and case size may have changed in the last 75 years the Datejust has earned its iconic status with its timeless aesthetics and reliable functionality. The brands first automatic watch to feature the date window at 3 o’clock and combined with the waterproof Oyster case made it a watch for all occasions.

This version is set in the classic 36mm stainless steel Oyster case and features the beautiful engine-turned bezel. The dial is a clean silver sunburst finish with applied baton hour markers with luminous dots and matching hand set. The date feature is at 3 o’clock with the cyclops and is protected by a hesalite plexi-glass. Powered by the Rolex in-house calibre 3035 automatic mechanism and fitted on a steel Jubilee bracelet with a folding Oysterclasp.

Originally from circa 1980 and in mint condition for its age, this Datejust comes with its original inner & outer boxes and would be a great gift for a 40^th birthday. It comes with the Swiss Watch Company’s 12-month sales warranty.
