Created in 1945 and still produced today, the Datejust is Rolex’s longest running collection. Although the dials, hands and case size may have changed in the last 75 years the Datejust has earned its iconic status with its timeless aesthetics and reliable functionality. The brands first automatic watch to feature the date window at 3 o’clock and combined with the waterproof Oyster case made it a watch for all occasions.

This version the reference 16233 was produced between 1988-2004 and is set in the classic 36mm stainless steel Oyster case with a stylish yellow gold fluted bezel and matching gold screw-down crown. The dial is a crisp white colour with applied baton hour markers and printed black Roman numerals, matching gold hands and date feature at 3 o'clock. Protected by a sapphire crystal glass with a cyclops lens, the watch is powered by the Rolex calibre 3135 automatic self-winding mechanism and is fitted on the iconic steel and gold Jubilee bracelet with a folding clasp.

Originally purchased in May 2003 and in mint condition, this Datejust and comes with Rolex inner and outer boxes, instruction booklet, seal, swing tag, leather warranty holder, leather wallet, calendar card, previous Rolex service papers and its original perforated international warranty certificate. This Datejust comes with a 12-month SWC warranty from the date of sale.
