The Rolex Datejust stands as an enduring icon in the realm of luxury timepieces, renowned for its timeless design, precision engineering, and a legacy that spans over seven decades. First introduced in 1945, the Datejust revolutionized the watchmaking industry by being the first self-winding chronometer to display the date in a window on the dial; an innovation that has since become a standard feature in countless watches. Today, the Rolex Datejust continues to epitomize elegance and functionality, embodying the perfect union of form and function.

This iteration of the famed Datejust, reference 116200 was produced between 2004 - 2019 and has now been discontinued. Encased in a polished 36mm stainless steel Oyster case with a sleek, polished bezel, this version boasts a captivating blue sunburst dial adorned with applied luminous baton hour markers and matching hands. The classic date feature is elegantly positioned at 3 o'clock, with the dial itself safeguarded by a sapphire crystal glass with cyclops lens for the date to enhance visibility. The timepiece is equipped with a Twinlock screw-down crown and a screw-down caseback, ensuring water resistance up to 10atm (100m/330ft). Powering this Datejust is the automatic calibre 3135 chronometer movement, renowned for its accuracy and reliability. Completing the ensemble is the iconic Oystersteel Jubilee bracelet, showcasing both satin and polished finishes, secured with the classic concealed crown clasp. 

Originally purchased in September 2018 and in mint condition, this Datejust comes supplied with a Rolex service pouch, seal, leather card holder, guarantee manual, original receipts and international warranty card.
