Created in 1945 and still produced today, the Datejust is Rolex’s longest running collection. Although the dials, hands and case size may have changed in the last 75 years the Datejust has earned its iconic status with its timeless aesthetics and reliable functionality. The brands first automatic watch to feature the date window at 3 o’clock and combined with the waterproof Oyster case made it a watch for all occasions.

This version of the Datejust, reference 16233 was produced between 1988-2004 and is set in the classic 36mm stainless steel Oyster case with a stylish 18ct yellow gold fluted bezel. The silver sunburst dial features applied yellow gold baton indexes with luminous dots, matching gold hands and the classic date feature at 3 o'clock. Protected by a sapphire crystal glass with cyclops lens for the date and fitted with a screwdown crown for water resistance of 10atm (100m/330ft). The watch is powered by the automatic calibre 3135 mechanism and comes fitted on the iconic stainless steel and 18ct yellow gold Jubilee bracelet with a folding clasp.

Originally produced in September 2004 and in mint condition for its age, this Datejust comes supplied with its original inner and outer boxes, green leather passport holder, leather card holder, instruction booklets, swing tag, seal, calendar card, translation booklet and original perforated international warranty certificate.
