Created in 1945 and still produced today, the Datejust is Rolex’s longest running collection. Although the dials, hands and case size may have changed in the last 75 years the Datejust has earned its iconic status with its timeless aesthetics and reliable functionality. The brands first automatic watch to feature the date window at 3 o’clock and combined with the waterproof Oyster case made it a watch for all occasions.

This version the reference 16233 was produced between 1988-2004 and is set in a 36mm stainless steel Oyster case fitted with an 18ct yellow gold fluted bezel. The mother of pearl dial features applied Roman numeral indexes and matching gold hands, with the classic date feature at 3 o'clock. These details are protected by a sapphire crystal glass and powered by the automatic calibre 3135 chronometer movement. Its 10atm (100m/330ft) water resistance is ensured by a Twinlock screwdown crown, with the watch completed by the iconic Rolesor (18ct yellow gold / stainless steel) Jubilee bracelet with an embossed crown clasp.

Originally produced in September 2003 and in mint condition for its age, this Datejust comes supplied with its original inner and outer boxes, swing tag, seal, calendar card, translation booklet,green passport holder and original perforated warranty certificate.
