First introduced in 1945, the Datejust revolutionized the watchmaking industry by being the first self-winding chronometer to display the date in a window on the dial; an innovation that has since become a standard feature in countless watches. Since 1978 Rolex has been the official partner and timekeeper of Wimbledon Tennis, the oldest and most prestigious tennis tournament in the world. Many winners of the tournament can be seen wearing their Rolex watches and as such this particular dial variation has become known as the ‘Wimbledon’ due to its green edged Roman numeral hour markers (a nod to the green grass courts, as well as Rolex’s signature colour).

This version, reference 126333, has been in production since 2016 and comes set in a polished 41mm stainless steel Oyster case with an elegant 18ct yellow gold fluted bezel. The dial is a stunning sunburst slate grey colour and features applied Roman numeral hour markers and the classic date feature at 3 o’clock. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal glass with a cyclops lens for the date. The watch is fitted with a yellow gold screw-down crown and powered by the automatic calibre 3235 chronometer movement. Presented on the iconic Jubilee stainless steel & yellow gold ‘Rolesor’ bracelet with a folding Oysterclasp with Easylink extension.

Originally purchased towards the end of 2023 and in unworn condition, coming supplied as a full set with its original inner and outer box, seal, swing tag, instruction booklet, leather card holder, warranty booklet, original receipt and international warranty card. This watch benefits from coverage of its Rolex manufacturer warranty until 2028.
