The Rolex Datejust stands as an enduring icon in the realm of luxury timepieces, renowned for its timeless design, precision engineering, and a legacy that spans over seven decades. First introduced in 1945, the Datejust revolutionized the watchmaking industry by being the first self-winding chronometer to display the date in a window on the dial; an innovation that has since become a standard feature in countless watches. Today, the Rolex Datejust continues to epitomize elegance and functionality, embodying the perfect union of form and function.

Since 1978 Rolex has been the official partner and timekeeper of Wimbledon Tennis, the oldest and most prestigious tennis tournament in the world. Many winners of the tournament can be seen wearing their Rolex watches and as such this particular dial variation has become known as the ‘Wimbledon’ due to its green edged Roman numeral hour markers (a nod to the green grass courts, as well as Rolex’s signature colour).

This iteration of the Datejust, reference 126300 has been in production since 2017 and comes set in a polished 41mm stainless steel Oyster case with an elegant smooth polished bezel. The dial is a sunburst slate grey colour and features one luminous baton hour marker at 9 o’clock with black, green edged Roman numerals for the rest and the classic date feature at 3 o’clock. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal glass with a cyclops lens for the date. The watch is fitted with a screw-down crown and powered by the Rolex calibre 3235 automatic self-winding movement. Presented on the classic Oyster link stainless steel bracelet with a folding Oysterclasp with Easylink extension.

Originally purchased in February in 2021 and in unworn condition, this Datejust comes supplied as a full set with its original inner and outer box, instruction booklet, guarantee booklet, leather card holder and international warranty card. All items listed in our box and papers image.
