Created in 1945 and still produced today, the Datejust is Rolex’s longest running collection. Although the dials, hands and case size may have changed in the last 75 years the Datejust has earned its iconic status with its timeless aesthetics and reliable functionality. The brands first automatic watch to feature the date window at 3 o’clock and combined with the waterproof Oyster case made it a watch for all occasions.

This version the reference 16233 was produced between 1988-2004 and is set in the classic 36mm stainless steel Oyster case with a stylish yellow gold fluted bezel and matching gold screw-down crown. The dial is a blue sunburst with applied contrasting gold baton hour markers, matching gold hands and date feature at 3 o'clock. Protected by a sapphire crystal glass with a cyclops lens, the watch is powered by the Rolex calibre 3135 automatic self-winding mechanism and is fitted on the iconic steel and gold Jubilee bracelet with a folding clasp.

This watch is in mint for age, unpolished condition. The Jubilee bracelet is in superb condition and the fluted bezel is sharp and in mint condition. Case back hologram sticker is still on the watch, showing the lack of wear that this watch has had.

Originally purchased in October 2001 and in mint for age condition, this Datejust and comes with its original inner and outer boxes, seal, leather card holder, calendar card, Oyster booklet, Datejust booklet and its original perforated international warranty paper certificate.

This watch has undergone our in-house maintenance service and comes with a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase.
