Created in 1945 and still produced today, the Datejust is Rolex’s longest running collection. Although the dials, hands and case size may have changed in the last 75 years the Datejust has earned its iconic status with its timeless aesthetics and reliable functionality. The brands first automatic watch to feature the date window at 3 o’clock and combined with the waterproof Oyster case made it a watch for all occasions.

In 2015, following the trend for women wearing larger watches, Rolex increased the size of the Lady-Datejust up to 28mm; giving the collection a more contemporary feel for the modern woman.

This version, the reference 279173 comes set in the updated 28mm stainless steel oyster case with an elegant 18ct yellow gold fluted bezel and screw-down crown. It features the rarely seen mint green tapestry dial with the luxurious diamond dot hour markers, and date feature at 3 o'clock. Powered by the automatic calibre 2236 mechanism, which is protected by a closed screwdown caseback that allows for a water resistance of 10atm (100m/330ft). Supplied on the iconic Rolesor (stainless steel and 18t yellow gold) Jubilee bracelet with concealed folding clasp.

Originally purchased in December 2018 and in mint condition, this Datejust comes with its original inner & outer boxes, seal, swing tag, guarantee booklet, instruction booklet and international warranty card.
