Originally launched in 1956, the Rolex Day-Date President has remained as the brand’s signature luxury watch. Exclusively crafted in precious metals, few luxury watches come close to the prestige, excellence, and timelessness of the Rolex President. When Rolex introduced the Day-Date, it was the first watch include the day of the week written in full at 12 o’clock along with the date window at 3 o’clock. Another hallmark of the Rolex Day-Date is its bracelet, officially named the ‘President’ bracelet. Characterized by its semi-circular links, the President bracelet is almost as famous as the timepiece itself, not to mention the icons who wore one.

Released in 2000 this reference 118209 was produced for only 8 years, and comes set in a polished 36mm 18ct white gold Oyster case with matching smooth polished bezel. This blue sunburst dial features applied diamond hour indexes and polished hands, as well as the classic day/date apertures at 12/3 o'clock. blued Arab indexes with a black printed minute ‘train-track’ around the chapter ring. These details are protected by a sapphire crystal glass complete with cyclops for the date, and powered by the Rolex calibre 3155 automatic movement. Lastly, the watch is completed by a matching 18ct white gold President link bracelet with concealed folding clasp.

Originally purchased in September 2003 and in mint condition, the watch comes complete with its original inner box, Rolex leather wallet, translation booklet, swing tag, Rolex seal and original perforated international warranty certificate.
