Originally launched in 1956, the Rolex Day-Date has remained as the brand’s signature luxury watch. Exclusively crafted in precious metals, few luxury watches come close to the prestige, excellence, and timelessness of the Rolex Day-Date. When Rolex introduced the Day-Date, it was the first watch include the day of the week written in full at 12 o’clock along with the date window at 3 o’clock.

Released in 2000 this reference 118208 comes set in a polished 36mm solid 18ct yellow gold Oyster case with an elegant yellow gold smooth polished bezel. The dial is a champagne sunburst coloured dial with applied luminous, gold-edged baton hour markers with black printed Roman numerals around the chapter ring. The dial is finished off with a day aperture at 12 o’clock and a date at 3 o’clock and the cyclops and sapphire crystal glass. Powered by the Rolex calibre 3155 automatic movement on the iconic Oyster link solid 18ct yellow gold bracelet with a folding clasp.

Originally purchased in circa 2010’s (undated warranty card) and in unworn condition (partially stickered), this Day-Date comes complete with its original Rolex inner & outer boxes, swing tag, seal, instruction booklet, leather warranty holder and international warranty card. This Rolex is under warranty from Watches of Switzerland until June 2023.
