Originally launched in 1956, the Rolex Day-Date President has remained as the brand’s signature luxury watch. Exclusively crafted in precious metals, few luxury watches come close to the prestige, excellence, and timelessness of the Rolex President. When Rolex introduced the Day-Date, it was the first watch include the day of the week written in full at 12 o’clock along with the date window at 3 o’clock. Another hallmark of the Rolex Day-Date is its bracelet, officially named the ‘President’ bracelet. Characterized by its semi-circular links, the President bracelet is almost as famous as the timepiece itself, not to mention the icons who wore one.

Released in 2000 this reference 118206 was produced for only 8 years. Set in a polished 36mm solid platinum Oyster case with a matching smooth polished bezel. This glacier blue dial with wave motif is very rarely seen and features applied blued Arab indexes with a black printed minute ‘train-track’ around the chapter ring. The dial is finished off with day and date apertures, and protected by a sapphire crystal glass complete with cyclops for the date. Powered by the Rolex calibre 3155 automatic movement on the iconic President link platinum bracelet with concealed folding clasp.

Originally purchased in December 2007 and in mint condition, the watch comes complete with its original inner & outer boxes, Rolex leather wallet, instruction booklet, guarantee booklet, calendar card, Rolex service documentation (2012 / 2019), original purchase invoices and international warranty card. This Day-Date is sold with our 12-month warranty from the date of purchase.
