The Rolex Explorer stands as a testament to the spirit of exploration and adventure. Launched in 1953 to commemorate Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay's historic ascent of Mount Everest, the Explorer has since become an enduring symbol of Rolex's dedication to reliability in extreme conditions. This iteration of the Explorer, reference 124273 was released in 2021 and is the first time since the 1960's that the explorer comes in a two tone model (previously only available in Canada). It comes set in a 36mm Oystersteel case with a smooth 18ct yellow gold polished bezel and matching Rolesor (18ct yellow gold / Stainless steel) Oyster bracelet with folding safety catch clasp. The glossy black dial features Chromalight luminous baton hour markers and the iconic 3/6/9 Arabic numerals, as well as matching hands, all edged in yellow gold to prevent tarnishing. These details are protected by a sapphire crystal glass and powered by the automatic calibre 3230 movement. Lastly, it's 10atm (100m/330ft) water resistance is ensured by an 18ct yellow gold Twinlock screwdown crown. 

Originally purchased in May 2023 and in mint condition, this Explorer comes supplied with its original inner and outer boxes, leather card holder, swing tag, seal, Explorer instructions, guarantee booklet and international warranty card.

This Explorer benefits from the coverage of its Rolex warranty until May 2028.
