The Explorer II is the new and improved adventurer’s timepiece. The watch was first released in 1971 and was geared towards adventurers and people who will be traversing dangerous terrains. Larger and more rugged than its predecessor, the Explorer II features a large second hand that rotates around the face of the watch once per 24 hours, which when used against the 24-hour bezel allows you to keep track of daylight hours or a second time zone.

This version the reference 16570 features a clean white ‘polar’ dial, bright red 24-hour hand and SuperLuminova luminous dot hour markers. There is a date window at 3 o’clock and it is set in a 40mm stainless steel case with 24-hour fixed brushed bezel. The watch is equipped with a chronometer rated calibre 3185 automatic movement and comes fitted on the Oyster link stainless-steel link bracelet with folding clasp.

Originally purchased in March 2010 and is in fine condition due to light marks on the bezel, this Explorer II comes with its original inner box, seal, instruction booklet and international warranty card.
