Originally developed in collaboration with Pan American World Airways (Pan Am), the GMT-Master was designed to meet the specific needs of international pilots and frequent travellers. Launched in 1954, the GMT-Master quickly became an icon with its distinctive two-tone bezel, allowing wearers to track multiple time zones simultaneously. The inaugural model, reference 6542, set the stage for a series of evolutions, introducing improvements like the iconic Cyclops lens for enhanced date visibility. Over the years, the GMT-Master has evolved into a symbol of both technical prowess and enduring style, capturing the imagination of adventurers, aviation enthusiasts, and watch connoisseurs alike.

This iteration of the GMT-Master II, reference 126710BLNR, comes set in the classic 40mm stainless steel Oyster case complete with bidirectional 24-hour bezel fitted with the contemporary blue and black 'Batman' Cerachrom insert. The glossy black maxi-dial is fitted with Chromalight hour markers and hands, edged in white gold to prevent tarnishing, as well as having the classic date feature at 3 o'clock. The dial is safeguarded by a flat sapphire crystal glass, with the watch fitted with a screwdown crown to ensure its water resistance of 10atm (100m/330ft). This GMT-Master II is driven by the automatic calibre 3285 chronometer movement, with the watch supplied on the iconic stainless-steel Jubilee bracelet with folding Oysterlock clasp.

Originally purchased in the UK, 2025 and in unworn condition, coming supplied its new style all green Rolex outer box, instruction manual, guarantee booklet, both hang tags, leather card holder and international warranty card.
