Originally developed in collaboration with Pan American World Airways (Pan Am), the GMT-Master was designed to meet the specific needs of international pilots and frequent travellers. Launched in 1954, the GMT-Master quickly became an icon with its distinctive two-tone bezel, allowing wearers to track multiple time zones simultaneously. The inaugural model, reference 6542, set the stage for a series of evolutions, introducing improvements like the iconic Cyclops lens for enhanced date visibility. Over the years, the GMT-Master has evolved into a symbol of both technical prowess and enduring style, capturing the imagination of adventurers, aviation enthusiasts, and watch connoisseurs alike.

This is the latest iteration of the GMT-Master II, reference 126710BLRO, and comes set in the classic 40mm stainless steel Oyster case fitted with the iconic blue and red 'Pepsi' Cerachrom bezel insert. The glossy black maxi-dial is fitted with Chromalight hour markers and hands, edged in white gold to prevent tarnishing, as well as having the classic date feature at 3 o'clock. The dial is safeguarded by a flat sapphire crystal glass, with the watch fitted with a screwdown crown to ensure its water resistance of 10atm (100m/330ft). This GMT-Master II is driven by the automatic calibre 3285 chronometer movement, with the watch supplied on the iconic stainless-steel Oyster bracelet with folding Oysterlock clasp.

Originally purchased in May 2021 and in mint condition, coming supplied its original inner and outer Rolex boxes, instruction manual, guarantee booklet, swing tag, seal, leather card holder and international warranty card and sales receipt, UK retailer.
