Since its inception in 1954 the Rolex GMT-Master has been the master of the skies and has adorned the wrists of pilots, astronauts and aviation enthusiasts ever since. Originally designed in collaboration with Pan Am Airways, the Rolex GMT-Master was initially created for Pan AM and issued by them to their pilots and crews on long-haul flights. The key feature of the watch was that it allowed the wearer to simultaneously reference two different time zones with its unique 24 hour bi-rotational bezel.

This iteration of the GMT-Master II, reference 126711CHNR was launched in 2018 with a new chunkier 40mm Oyster case and an 18ct Everose gold black/brown Cerachrom bi-rotational bezel with engraved 24-hour numerals. The clean black dial features Chromalight luminous dot hour markers, matching hands and an additional 4^th GMT hand, all edged in 18ct Rose Gold, as well as the classic date feature is at 3 o’clock. These details are protected by a sapphire crystal glass and powered by the Rolex in-house 3285 automatic movement. Lastly, it's 10atm (100m/330ft) water resistance is ensured by a Triplock screwdown crown, with completed by a matching Oystersteel and Everose gold Oyster bracelet with a folding Oysterlock safety clasp.

Originally purchased in 2024 and in unworn condition, this GMT-Master II comes supplied as a full and complete set with its original inner & outer boxes, leather card holder, operating instructions, swing tag, seal, guarantee manual, original receipt and international warranty card.
