We are proud to present this iconic Rolex GMT-Master II, reference 16710, offered in mint condition and fully checked in our workshop.

Since its debut in 1954, the GMT-Master has been synonymous with international travel. Developed in partnership with Pan Am Airways, it allowed pilots to track multiple time zones simultaneously, a feature that quickly made it indispensable to aviation professionals and globe-trotters alike. The GMT-Master II refined that functionality, introducing an independently adjustable hour hand while preserving the unmistakable 24-hour bezel design.

Produced from 1989 until 2007, the reference 16710 represents the final generation of GMT-Master II models fitted with the classic aluminium bezel insert before Rolex transitioned to ceramic. This example features the timeless black bezel insert, paired with the 40mm stainless steel Oyster case and bi-directional 24-hour bezel.

The glossy black dial is fitted with Super-LumiNova hour markers and hands edged in white gold, along with the signature red GMT hand for tracking a second time zone. The date aperture at 3 o’clock sits beneath a sapphire crystal with Cyclops magnification. Powering the watch is the dependable Rolex calibre 3185 automatic movement, known for its robustness and precision. The watch is completed by a stainless steel Oyster bracelet with folding safety clasp.

Originally purchased in November 2006, this GMT-Master II is presented in mint condition and supplied with its inner and outer Rolex boxes, swing tag, booklet, green leather cardholder, calendar and additional black bezel insert.
