Rolex GMT-Master 'Nipple Dial' , 1675

We are proud to present this very desirable Rolex GMT-Master for sale in fine condition for its age, fully checked and authenticated in our accredited workshop.

Originally developed in collaboration with Pan American World Airways (Pan Am), the GMT-Master was designed to meet the specific needs of international pilots and frequent travellers. Launched in 1954, the GMT-Master quickly became an icon with its distinctive two-tone bezel, allowing wearers to track multiple time zones simultaneously. The inaugural model, reference 6542, set the stage for a series of evolutions, introducing improvements like the iconic Cyclops lens for enhanced date visibility. Over the years, the GMT-Master has evolved into a symbol of both technical prowess and enduring style, capturing the imagination of adventurers, aviation enthusiasts, and watch connoisseurs alike. In 1965 the GMT-Master received a new upgraded movement, the calibre 1575 which was chronometer certified and had a higher beat movement than the previous 1565.

This stunning GMT-Master, reference 1675 comes set in a polished/brushed 40mm stainless steel Oyster case with an 18ct yellow gold bi-rotational bezel fitted with a black bezel insert with gilt 24-hour numerals. The clean matte black dial features yellow gold 'nipple' hour markers and matching hands, as well as the classic date feature at 3 o’clock. These details are protected by an acrylic plexi glass and powered by the automatic calibre 1575 chronometer movement. Lastly, the watch is completed by a matching Rolesor (Stainless steel / 18ct yellow gold) folded Jubilee link bracelet with the rarely seen 14ct trim clasp. 

Originally produced in 1979 and in fine condition for its age, supplied with an original inner and outer box, swing tag, seal, Oyster booklet and our authenticity card.
