Created in 1945 and still produced today, the Datejust is Rolex’s longest running collection. Although the dials, hands and case size may have changed in the last 75 years the Datejust has earned its iconic status with its timeless aesthetics and reliable functionality. The brands first automatic watch to feature the date window at 3 o’clock and combined with the waterproof Oyster case made it a watch for all occasions.
This version, the reference 278274 is the current version of the famous Midsize Datejust. It is set in the modern 31mm stainless steel Oyster case and features the luxurious fluted white gold bezel. The dial is a stunning pink sunray with white gold edged baton indicators. The date feature is at 3 o’clock with the cyclops and is protected by a sapphire crystal glass. Powered by the Rolex in-house calibre 2236 automatic mechanism and fitted on a matching Oystersteel Rolesor brushed/polished Oyster link bracelet with hidden folding clasp.
Originally purchased in March 2022 and in unworn (partially stickered) condition, this Datejust comes with its original inner & outer boxes, seal, instruction booklet, leather warranty holder, original receipt and original Rolex international warranty card. This Datejust is currently under Rolex warranty until March 2027.
