The Rolex Datejust stands as an enduring icon in the realm of luxury timepieces, renowned for its timeless design, precision engineering, and a legacy that spans over seven decades. First introduced in 1945, the Datejust revolutionized the watchmaking industry by being the first self-winding chronometer to display the date in a window on the dial; an innovation that has since become a standard feature in countless watches. Today, the Rolex Datejust continues to epitomize elegance and functionality, embodying the perfect union of form and function.

This version of the Datejust, reference 69173 was produced from the early 1980's until 2003 and comes set in the classic ladies 26mm stainless steel oyster case fitted with an elegant yellow gold fluted bezel. The champagne sunburst dial features applied yellow gold indexes and hands, with the dial details completed with a date aperture at 3 o'clock. Safeguarded by a sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens for the date and fitted with an 18ct yellow gold screwdown crown ensuring water resistance of 10atm (100m/330ft). Powered by the automatic calibre 2135 mechanism and fitted on the iconic Rolesor stainless steel and yellow gold Jubilee bracelet with a folding Oysterclasp.

Originally purchased in December 1993 and in fine condition for its age with minor wear present on the fluted bezel and case. This Datejust comes with its original inner and outer boxes, Oyster booklet, Datejust booklet, Rolex seal and perforated international warranty papers.
