Emerging from the visionary ingenuity of Rolex's founder, Hans Wilsdorf, the Oyster Perpetual series stands as a pinnacle of horological innovation. In 1931, Rolex achieved a groundbreaking milestone by patenting a self-winding watch movement; the world’s first mechanism to be energized through a rotor 'weight.' This ingenious design allowed the timepiece to harness the motion of the wearer's arm and wrist, ensuring a perpetual winding of the intricate mechanism. The moniker 'Perpetual' aptly reflected this self-sustaining feature. Notably, it wasn't until the 1950s that the appellation 'Oyster Perpetual' graced the dials of automatic Rolex watches, marking a significant era in the evolution of this iconic timekeeping legacy.

This version of the Oyster Perpetual, reference 67193, comes set in the classic ladies 24mm stainless steel oyster case fitted with an elegant 18ct yellow gold fluted bezel. The champagne sunburst dial features applied diamond hour indexes and polished yellow gold hands. Safeguarded by a sapphire crystal glass and fitted with an 18ct yellow gold screwdown crown ensuring water resistance of 10atm (100m/330ft). Powered by the automatic calibre 2130 mechanism and fitted on the iconic Rolesor stainless steel and 18ct yellow gold Jubilee bracelet with a folding Oysterclasp. 

Originally purchased in August 1989 and in fine condition for its age, supplied with its original inner and outer boxes, Oyster booklet, translation booklet, instruction manual, calendar card, leather card holder and international warranty certificate.
