We are proud to present this contemporary Rolex Oyster Perpetual 34 for sale in unworn partially stickered condition, fully checked and authenticated in our accredited workshop. 

Emerging from the visionary ingenuity of Rolex's founder, Hans Wilsdorf, the Oyster Perpetual series stands as a pinnacle of horological innovation. In 1931, Rolex achieved a groundbreaking milestone by patenting a self-winding watch movement; the world's first mechanism to be energized through a rotor 'weight.' This ingenious design allowed the timepiece to harness the motion of the wearer's arm and wrist, ensuring a perpetual winding of the intricate mechanism. The moniker 'Perpetual' aptly reflected this self-sustaining feature. Notably, it wasn't until the 1950s that the appellation 'Oyster Perpetual' graced the dials of automatic Rolex watches, marking a significant era in the evolution of this iconic timekeeping legacy.

This iteration, reference 114200 comes in a solid 34mm stainless steel Oyster case with smooth polished bezel. This timepiece features a silver sunburst dial dial, accentuated by quarter Arab numerals, as well as Chromalight baton hour markers and hands, both bordered in white gold to prevent tarnishing. The dial's integrity is preserved by a flat sapphire crystal glass, while a screwdown crown ensures water resistance up to 10atm(100m/330ft). Driven by the automatic calibre 3130 chronometer movement and secured by a stainless steel Oyster link bracelet with a folding Oysterlock clasp. 

Originally purchased in November 2017 and in unworn stickered condition, the watch comes supplied with the original inner box, Oyster booklet, guarantee manual, seal, leather card holder and international warranty card. This Oyster Perpetual is sold with our 12-month warranty from the date of sale.
