Emerging from the visionary ingenuity of Rolex founder Hans Wilsdorf, the Oyster Perpetual series stands as a cornerstone of Rolex's horological heritage. The Oyster case, introduced by Rolex in 1926, was the world's first waterproof wristwatch case, while the Perpetual movement introduced in 1931 brought Rolex's self-winding rotor mechanism to the collection. Together, these innovations established the foundations of the modern Rolex wristwatch and continue to define the Oyster Perpetual family today.

This example, reference 114200, is presented in a solid 34mm stainless steel Oyster case with a smooth polished bezel. The distinctive salmon pink dial is complemented by applied baton hour markers and matching hands, creating a clean and understated aesthetic. The dial is protected by a flat sapphire crystal, while the screw-down winding crown contributes to the Oyster case's water resistance of up to 10 ATM (100m/330ft). Powering the watch is the Rolex calibre 3130 automatic movement, a Swiss chronometer-certified movement. The watch is completed by its stainless steel Oyster bracelet, secured by a folding Oysterclasp.

Originally purchased in August 2014 and presented in mint condition, this Oyster Perpetual comes supplied with its original inner and outer boxes, instructional booklet, Rolex leather card holder and international warranty card.
