Rolex Oyster Perpetual 39, 114300

This gorgeous Rolex Oyster Perpetual 39 has been fully checked in our in-house accredited workshop.

In 1931 Rolex patented a self-winding watch movement, this was one of the first movements to be wound through the means of a rotor ‘weight’. This weight moved as the wearer moved their arm and wrist, constantly winding the mechanism. Hence the moniker ‘Perpetual’ as it would be perpetually wound. However, it wasn’t until the 1950’s that we saw the text ‘Oyster Perpetual’ appear on the dials of automatic Rolex watches.

This version, the reference 114300 was produced from 2015 and was discontinued in 2020. It comes in a solid 39mm stainless steel Oyster case with a smooth polished bezel. The dial is a striking blue sunburst and features contrasting green square hour marks on the outer ring with applied luminous baton hour markers at the 3/6/9 o’clock, edged in white gold to prevent tarnishing. The dial is protected by a flat sapphire crystal glass and the watch is powered by a Rolex in-house calibre 3132 automatic movement. It comes fitted on a matching stainless steel Oyster link bracelet with a folding Oysterlock clasp.

Originally purchased in August 2016 and in mint condition, this Rolex comes with its original inner & outer boxes, seal, swing tag, instruction booklet, guarantee manual, leather card holder and international warranty card. This Oyster Perpetual is sold with a 12-month warranty.
