The D-Blue Sea-Dweller Deep Sea was introduced in 2014 to commemorate James Cameron's descent to the bottom of the Mariana Trench in his Deepsea Challenger in 2012 - the dial is coloured from brilliant blue to bottomless black, its two-colour gradient dial celebrates one man’s journey to the deepest place on earth, while the 'Deepsea' on the dial is as green as the submersible was.

This version is set in the 44mm wide, 17mm thick 904L Oyster steel case. The size and thickness of the stainless-steel case are required to achieve the Deepsea’s impressive water resistance of 3,900 meters—more than 100 times more than the depth that any person could survive! To attain this, the case is built according to Rolex’s patented Ringlock System, which includes a nitrogen-alloyed steel ring at the centre of the case, a helium escape valve to rid the watch of built-up gases, a 5.5 mm thick domed sapphire crystal, and a steel and titanium caseback.

Fitted with a black Cerachrom uni-rotational bezel, the dial features large ‘maxi’ Chromalight luminous dot hour markers and matching hands. The watch is powered by the Rolex calibre 3135 automatic self-winding movement and comes on the classic 3-link steel Oyster bracelet with the folding Oysterlock safety clasp with Rolex Glidelock extension system.

Originally purchased from a main UK AD in April 2015 and in mint condition. This Sea-Dweller comes with its original inner & outer boxes, reddy brown seal, divers extension and international warranty card.
